The 1978 RM400 is the first year aluminum swingarm and the first year it had a plastic tank. More importantly it was only produced for two years.

Details

Every part has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected and replaced if necessary. Here is the short list of what’s been done

1. All aluminum parts have been polished

2. All painted parts have been repainted or powder coated.

3. All bolts have been zinc plated.

4. All seals have been changed.

5. Triple clamp and swing arm bearings have been changed

6. New Piston & Rings

7. Clutch has been rebuilt

8. Completely rebuilt carburetor

9. Front forks and rear shocks have been completely rebuilt

10. All plastic has been replaced

11. New seat and foam

12. Tank has been polished, not painted or coated.
