1980 Suzuki RM400 this is a very beautiful RM400. I am the 2nd owner of this bike. I have had it for 5 years I restored it 2 years ago It has been setting in my shop covered up all that time. I have all the orginal plastics that came on it if the buyer wants them. I will try to list all the new parts but I know I will forget some things. New plastics new Clark gas tank never had gas in it. New dunlops front and rear. Buchanan SS spokes and nipples front and rear new chain and front and rear sprockets all OEM. All plastics and cables are OEM. New handles and OEM perches and levers , grips. new seat cover. Orginal pipe and muffler are in great shape no dents are rust .orginal air box is near perfect. The top end is 2nd over I could not find a 1st over I have the orginal piston and ring if the new buyer wants them .Frame and foot pegs are powder coated. New graphics. All the nuts and bolts are new . I have many of the recipts and alot of pictures of the restoration,way to many to list. When I finished the restoration I put some fuel in the old tank to crank it.It ran good but I have not run it anymore. I drained the carb. and put on the new tank I have not run it since then. If you are going to race this bike you will need to put some shocks on back they have good rebound but they are orginal and I would not trust them. I can not list all the new parts they are just to many. I built this bike from a good orginal complete bike. It did not come from a pile of parts I had in the corner of my shop.
