I am asked over and over again what the color code is for the blue paint on the 1984-1990 Suzuki RM frames. So I decided to write up this post.
Here is the Color Code Chart for the 1984 RM250 from the OEM microfiche:
- 019 – black
- 064 – pure white
- 08K – vivid blue (tape)
- 08L – light blue (tape)
- 163 – phlolina yellow
- 19F – champion blue
- 19T – medium gold
- 281 – black (non-gloss)
- 54G – super blue
- 58D – super blue no. 2
- 722 – dark green (tape)
- 765 – dark blue (tape)
- 82M – 08L, 08K, 765, 019, 163
- 95C – 765, 08K, 08L, 163, 064
If you’re not going to mix your own paint, your best option is to use PJ1 Factory OEM Match paints.
The part number for the blue frame paint is:
PJ1 Factory OEM Match Frame – Suzuki Blue 84-90 (17-SBO)
You will most likely have to order it from your local bike shop. I don’t know anywhere online that sells it. A local retail shop will be able to order it from Tucker Rocky, Parts Unlimited or one of the other catalogs.
